Product Description
R20 is a self-fusing, butyl rubber tape, widely used for the electrical insulation, protection, sealing, splicing, and terminations up to 33kV. Provides a working termperature range of -40°C to +90°C. A polyethylene liner ensures the tape is protected and clean during application.
R20 has excellent volume resistivity, a high breakdown voltage and a low disipation factor. It is totally resistant to moisture, water and chemicals. R20 offers excellent electrical insulation, workability and weather protection and completely self-amalgamates in two hours from application.
Application
R20 can be used for termination, splicing and corrosion protection of cables. Also insulation and protection of lead shielded cables is possible. The product is used for its waterproof sealing and corrosion protection of HV cable joints for indoor, outdoor and underground, Radiform R20 is also very popular in automotive and marine electrical applications.
